The AALC is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit membership organization made up of individuals and entities that develop and/or operate affordable assisted living projects (Supportive Living Facilities or SLFs) and their business partners that have an interest or involvement in Illinois’ Supportive Living Program (SLP).


NDC is the oldest national non-profit community development organization in the U.S. We’ve evolved a lot since our founding in 1969, but our mission—increasing the flow of capital to underserved urban and rural areas for job creation and community development—remains the same. We offer our community partners development assistance and professional training as well as small business financing and debt and equity for residential, commercial, public and non-profit facilities projects.


The NLHA is a national organization representing all major participants, private and public, in the affordable multifamily rental housing industry. NLHA is a vital and effective advocate for 550 housing provider organizations and their consultants, specializing in federally assisted rental housing.


The IHC is a non-profit association created to help promote and facilitate the development of additional affordable housing in Illinois. Founded in 2002, IHC is comprised of individuals and organizations involved in all aspects of affordable housing. IHC members include owners, property managers, developers, builders, subcontractors, investors, architects, lawyers, non-profit groups, local officials, lenders, accountants, market analysts and consultants.


The USGBC is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that certifies sustainable businesses, homes, hospitals, schools, and neighborhoods. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™.


The NAHB is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large.


SIBA represents the contractors who perform the majority of all non-residential construction in the 39 counties of Southern Illinois.


AGC is the leading national construction trade association representing all facets of commercial construction for both public and private entities including building, heavy, highway, and municipal projects.


EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule) requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and pre-schools built before 1978 have their firm certified by EPA (or an EPA authorized state), use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers and follow lead-safe work practices.
