
PRESIDENT
Michael M. Morrissey serves as the President of Morrissey Construction Company. He graduated in 1973 from the University of Miami (Florida) School of Business. After graduation, he opened Morrissey Construction Company of Missouri in 1973 and developed the first ever condominium conversion project at the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Upon completion and returning to the home office in Illinois, he managed multiple multi-family, commercial and educational projects utilizing the latest in construction management, accounting and scheduling technology.
Michael’s present role is to ensure that the projects are constructed in a professional, timely manner by utilizing a total team concept, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to provide superior quality projects that are constructed safely, within budget and on schedule. He personally oversees all projects while leading Morrissey Construction Company with over thirty-eight years of experience.

VICE PRESIDENT & DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS
With over 22 years of experience, working his way through the ranks of the construction trades, Michael C. Morrissey now serves as the Vice President and Director of Construction Operations.
Holding a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois State University, Michael has a diverse background in the construction industry. He began working as a carpenter and has since advanced to become carpenter foreman, construction superintendent, estimator, project manager and chief estimator.
Michael has a strong background in senior living and multi-family housing, as well as in education and recreational structures. His primary role involves direct oversight of the construction department, interacting with designers and owners lending design suggestions and conceptual estimates in the planning stages of development.

TREASURER & DIRECTOR OF PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Ryan Morrissey is the Treasurer and Director of Pre-Construction Services. He began his career in the construction industry as a laborer and, after holding the positions of carpenter and assistant superintendent, started working in the office as an estimator. After many years of proven estimates, successful projects, and satisfied clients, Ryan quickly established himself in the pre-construction field and was promoted to Director of Pre-Construction Services.
Ryan is responsible for direct oversight of the estimating department and manages constructability reviews, budgeting, design assist, value engineering and competitive bidding. He also serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors.
Ryan is a graduate of Illinois State University and worked as a volunteer for the ISU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter. He resides in Godfrey with his wife Sara and son Shane. He enjoys hunting, fishing and anything that keeps him outdoors.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Edmund R. Morrissey is a 1967 graduate of Marquette High School in Alton, Illinois and a 1971 graduate of the University of Miami, Florida, School of Business. He played a leading role in the successful development of many affordable housing programs from 1975 to 1985, including the Turn Key and Section 8 assisted housing programs and including the first Section 8 in the U.S. sponsored by an agency of a PHA with private tax-exempt bond financing.
Ed is the past president of Morrissey Construction, and with his vast experience in construction contacts, is lending his expertise to our Business Development Department.
Ed holds numerous construction and safety certifications and continues to be active in many local, state and national community and construction organizations.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
J. Thomas Long graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting. From 1972 through 1974, he served in the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge, Tom attended Southern Methodist University Law School, receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1976.
Tom is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Illinois, Alton Wood River, Madison County and St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Associations, the Illinois C.P.A. Society and is an active Member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
Tom is the Chairman of the Board of First National Bank of Grant Park, Illinois. He is also actively engaged in the practice of law with Roth, Evans & Lading, P.C. Mr. Long is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee at St. Anthony’s Health Center in Alton, and is the past President of the Southwestern Illinois Employers Association.
Tom currently lives in Godfrey with his wife Robin and daughter Emma.
